Installing Rear Apron

NOTE: Heat protection panels not fitted correctly
  • Risk of damage to adjacent parts

→ Make sure the heat protection panels overlap correctly.

→ Replace damaged or deformed heat protection panels.

→ Check heat protection panels for deformation, secure fixing of the aluminum braided cord, cracks and missing or damaged fixing tabs.

→ At least 80% of the total sealing area must be sealed without gaps.

Information 

Two people are needed to remove and install the rear apron!

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.

    Fastening screw at top of rear apron. Tightening torque 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.) 

    Fastening screw at bottom of rear apron. Tightening torque 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.) 

    Fastening screw (item 3) Tightening torque 7 Nm (5 ft. lbs.) +/-0.7 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)
