Installing Front Apron
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2019 Porsche 911, 2018 Porsche 911, 2017 Porsche 911, 2016 Porsche 911, and 2015 Porsche 911. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
- Secure the front apron at the top using the fastening screws and a Torque Screwdriver Nr. 89 Pos. 5 Tightening Torque 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)
- Tighten fastening screws at the sides of the front apron. Torque Screwdriver Nr. 89 Pos. 5 Tightening Torque 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)
- Connect hose connection for front spoiler (pneumatics).
- Secure the front apron underneath with the fastening screws. Torque Screwdriver Nr. 89 Pos. 5 Tightening Torque 3.2 Nm (2 ft. lbs.) +/-0.6 Nm (+/-0.5 ft. lbs.)
- Check gap dimensions at the front lid, wing and headlights. Loosen fastening screws if necessary and adjust gap dimensions by moving the front apron.
