Replacing Sealing Ring For Parking Lock Shaft

Clean the work area around the repair point on the transmission carefully and thoroughly in order to avoid suspected leaks.

Lever off sealing ring -1- using a small screwdriver.
1. 1.1. Dispose of sealing ring.

Grease inside and outside of new sealing ring with a light coating of Kluber Syntheso Glep and push it carefully over the threaded section onto the shaft.
Tap sealing ring in as far as it will go using pressure sleeve T10174 -1- or a long socket (a/f 13).
