Checking Actuator Travel (Tensioned) Of Parking-Brake Shoes

- Close electric parking brake using the EPB button.
- Read out the left/right actuator position and perform basic setting procedure if necessary.
- 2.1. PIWIS Tester II 9818
must be connected before reading out the left/right actuator position. To do this, select >>Parking brake<< in the control unit overview and then select >>Measured values<< under >>Actual values/input signals<<.
- 2.1.1. If the value is > 4.5 mm
, basic setting of the duo-servo brakes must be performed.

NOTE: Check free play using PIWIS Tester II 9818 .
Following basic setting, the free play on both sides must be within the prescribed dimension range.

- 2.1.1. If the value is > 4.5 mm
