Removing Glove Compartment

NOTE:
  • The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
  • The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
  • Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
  • Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
  1. Remove ground cable for the battery. → 270619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BATTERY
  2. Unscrew bottom fastening screws -1-  .
  3. Unscrew fastening screw -2-  at the sides.
  4. Unscrew top fastening screws -4-. 
  5. Open glove compartment and unscrew fastening screws -3-  .

  6. Pull glove compartment -1-  forward and remove from the dashboard.
  7. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  .
  8. Remove glove compartment -1-  .
