Removing Headlight Mounting

Information:  Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

Installation position of headlight mounting 

1. Roughly cut out headlight mounting -Arrows-  .

   Removing headlight mounting 

   Information:  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

2. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139

   Removing support 

3. Heat the marked bonding surfaces.
   1. 3.1. Remove support.

4. Remove bracket for front side member.

   Information:  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 4.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 
   2. 4.2. Remove remaining pieces.

5. Remove headlight mounting.

   Information:  Drill out the connection point on one side only. Do not damage the plate underneath.

   1. 5.1. Drill out spotwelds. Spotweld drill bit Nr.129 Pneumatic spotweld remover, Vario Drill WS 90 WE 1139 
   2. 5.2. Remove welded seams -Arrows -. 
   3. 5.3. Remove remaining pieces.
