Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill; see Gr. 2.4; Workshop Equipment Manual Nr.129.

Grind down welded seams in area -A- .

Heat the bonding surfaces.
