Fuel Tank and Lines: Description: Adapter

An adapter is provided to allow the misfueling protection device to be temporarily overridden if:

The vehicle travels to a market where there are different sizes of fuel nozzle size.
The vehicle runs out of fuel and must be refilled at the road side using a reserve can.

The adapter will be located either in the glovebox or in the luggage compartment alongside the tool kit.
