Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

  2. Remove the generator.

    Refer to: GENERATOR

  3. NOTE:
    • Make sure to clean the threads prior to installation.
    • Right hand drive only.

    Discard the bolt.

  9. CAUTION:
    • Support the engine on a jack. The angle may need to be adjusted during this procedure.
    • Use a wooden block to protect the oil pan when supporting the engine.

    Using a suitable hydraulic jack, raise and support the engine.
