Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS

  2. Remove the generator.

    Refer to: GENERATOR

  6. Refer to: CRANKSHAFT PULLEY - TDV6 3.0L DIESEL - GEN 2 
  7. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

    Remove the timing belt cover sealing strips.

    Remove the alignment dowels (if equipped).
