Step 2 Rear differential fill plug 1
Step 3 Rear differential drain plug 1
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
    CAUTION: Make sure the vehicle is on a flat level surface.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. NOTE: Discard the differential case filler plug washer.
    G11716083

    Make sure the vehicle is level. Remove the rear differential case filler plug.

    Renew Part: Rear differential fill plug Quantity: 1  .

  3. NOTE: Discard the differential case fluid drain plug washer.
    G11716084

    Drain the differential fluid.

    Renew Part: Rear differential drain plug Quantity: 1  .

  4. CAUTION: Install a new washer.

    Install the differential case fluid drain plug.

    Torque Specification: 34 Nm 

  5. Fill the rear differential, until a thin bead of fluid runs from the filler hole.

    Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS 

  6. CAUTION: Install a new washer.
    G11716083

    Install the differential case fluid filler plug.

    Torque Specification: 34 Nm 

  7. Lower the vehicle.
