Installing Wiper Linkage

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter) from the ignition lock.
Connect plug connection -arrow- until it engages securely.

Insert wiper linkage -A- and position it -B- .

Fit fastening screws.
Tighten fastening screws in the specified sequence.

- 5.1. Tighten fastening screw -1- to the specified tightening torque → Tightening torque: 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) .
- 5.2. Tighten fastening screw -2- to the specified tightening torque → Tightening torque: 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) .
- 5.3. Tighten fastening screw -3- to the specified tightening torque → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.) .
