Removing Rear Brake Disc

- PIWIS Tester II 9818
must be connected and started.
- 1.1. Select parking brake.
- 1.2. Select Maintenance/repairs.
- 1.3. Move to installation position.
- Disconnect the plug connection for the brake pad wear indicator and detach it from the holder.
Information
- Do not open the brake hydraulic system (brake line remains connected).
- Detach brake calliper at the wheel bearing housing (wheel carrier) -arrows-
and hang it at a suitable place in the wheel housing.
If the edge of the brake disc is protruding at the outer diameter, first reset the brake pads slightly and evenly.
- Remove brake disc.
- 4.1. Remove fastening screws -arrows-
and take off brake disc.
Information
- Central bolts (911 GT3): The wheel adapter pins do not have to be removed in order to remove the brake disc.
- 4.2. 911 Turbo with central bolts:
Remove five wheel adapters and remove the brake disc.

- Brake disc
- Wheel hub
- 4.1. Remove fastening screws -arrows-
and take off brake disc.
