Removing Front Apron

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear.

Unscrew fastening screws -1- at the bottom of the front apron.

Unscrew fastening screws -2- for the wing and attachment strip.

Pull safety clips -3- at the left and right off the guide pins.

Unscrew front fastening screws -1- at the top.

Disconnect wire harness on the right side.
1. 5.1. Press locking lugs -a- and pull off the connectors.

Take off front apron with the help of an assistant.
1. 6.1. Loosen the front apron and pull it forward slightly.

2. 6.2. Disconnect line for headlight washer system.
  1. 6.2.1. Press off line with a hose clamp.

  2. 6.2.2. Unclip line from the front apron.
  3. 6.2.3. Pull line off the spray nozzle.

3. 6.3. Remove trim panel fully.
