Removing Metal Guide Tube For Holder Unit

Remove holder for sliding roof control unit.
1. 1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on holder for sliding roof -2- .
2. 1.2. Remove holder for sliding roof control unit -2- from roof assembly -3- and lay to one side -arrows-
Remove water drainage bracket at the rear left and right.
1. 2.1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and fastening screws -2- on the water drain bracket -3- (-arrows- ).
  Information
  
  The water drainage bracket will be irreparably damaged during removal and must be replaced.
2. 2.2. Loosen water drain bracket -3- all the way around with a metal spatula -arrow- .

Information

To make removal easier, pull back the metal guide tubes first to the left and then to the right.

Information

During removal, the metal guide tubes must not be kinked or bent.
Remove metal guide tubes.
1. 3.1. Undo fastening screws -1- .
2. 3.2. Pull out metal guide tubes -2- in -arrowrichtung- from the drive shafts -3- .
