Removing Mounting Unit (Drive Mechanism)

Remove water drainage bracket at the rear left and right.
1. 1.1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- and fastening screws -2- on the water drainage bracket -3- (-arrows- ).
  Information
  
  The water drainage bracket will be irreparably damaged during removal and must be replaced.
2. 1.2. Loosen water drainage bracket -3- all the way around with a metal spatula -arrow- .

Drill out blind rivets -1- with a 6-mm Ø drill and remove guide duct for the fabric lining -2- in -direction of arrow- .

Information

During removal, the metal guide tubes must not be kinked or bent.

Information

To make removal easier, pull back the metal guide tubes first to the left and then to the right.
Unscrew fastening screws -1- and pull the metal guide tubes -2- out of the roof assembly in -direction of arrow- .

Pull front mount -1- and rear mount -2- on the drive shaft -3- out of the gate guide in -direction of arrow- .
