Installing Engine Mounting

Risk of squashing or crushing

→ Secure components to prevent them from falling down.

Insert engine mounting -1- at engine carrier and at the same time guide the threaded bolt -2- through the bearing eyelet on the engine carrier.

Insert two hexagon-head bolts M8 x 60 and tighten them. → Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.) .
Position collar nut M12 (internal Torx screw, screw insert T55) at threaded bolt of engine carrier and tighten it. → Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ft. lb.)
Lower jack together with transmission jack plate and push out of work area.
Fit air cleaner housing.
