Installing Transmission-Oil Pump

Information
Always replace gaskets and O-rings.
- Grease all gaskets (except for the cooling system) with Kluber Syntheso Glep (Part No. 000.043.204.68).
- Fit O-rings on the transmission-oil pump.
- 1.1. Grease O-rings with the prescribed lubricant.
- Install transmission-oil pump -1-

- 2.1. Guide in transmission-oil pump as far as possible by hand. Small twisting movements will make it easier to install the pump.
- 2.2. Fit the bottom hexagon-head bolt (M8 x 30) -3- as a guide. Tap the oil pump in carefully as far as it will go with a rubber hammer.
- 2.3. Coat the thread of the two hexagon-head bolts (M8 x 25) at the top -2- with plenty of Loctite 574 (Part No. 000.043.051.00).
- 2.4. Fit and tighten bolts on the transmission flange.
→ Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ft. lb.)
- 2.5. Remove sealant residue.
