Installing rear brake calliper (standard brake system and PCCB)

  1. Fit brake calliper on wheel carrier. Use new fastening screws -3-  . Tightening torque: 85 Nm (63 ftlb.).

    Fit brake line -1-  and holder (M6 screw) -2-  on brake calliper.

    Tightening torques: Brake line -1-  = 12-14 Nm (9-10.5 ftlb.)/holder (M6 screw) -2-  = 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).

  2. Route brake pad wear indicator wire (clip it into the holders) and connect the connector to the combination plug connection. Lock combination plug connection.
  3. Bleed the brake system and adjust the brake-fluid level → 470107 BLEEDING THE BRAKE SYSTEM .
