Removing Oil Mist Separator

  1. Engine ventilation/oil mist separator
  2. Molded seal
  3. Molded seal
  4. Screw elements, M6
  1. Disconnect line connections to the connection piece on the oil mist separator. To do this, press on the grooved surfaces and pull off the connection. -1- 
  2. Loosen screws -2-  . Screws are permanently connected. If screws are damaged, press the screws out of the oil mist separator and replace them.

  4. Remove oil mist separator from the valve cover. At the same time, check the seals and replace them if damaged.
