Installing ATF Pan

Information 

Make sure to use steel screws when fitting the ATF pan.

  1. Clean the sealing face on the transmission.

    Information 

    To ensure that the ATF pan will not leak, it must always be replaced following removal.

  2. Install a new ATF pan and tighten fastening screws hand-tight.
  3. Tighten fastening screws in the specified sequence. Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) +/-1 Nm (+/- 0.5 ftlb.)

  4. Screw in and tighten oil drain plug -arrow-  on the new ATF pan. Tightening torque 15 Nm (11 ftlb.) 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

  5. Fit heat shield on the transmission. Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

  6. Fit heat protection on the transmission.
