Installing ATF Pan

  1. Clean all magnets in the ATF pan. Make sure to stick the magnets back on fully.
  2. Fit ATF pan with new gasket -1-  . When doing this, check that all spacer sleeves -2-  are inserted fully in the new gasket.

  3. Tighten screws on the ATF pan in several stages and in diagonally opposite sequence.
    Location Description Type Basic value Tolerance 1 Tolerance 2
    Fastening screws on ATF pan   Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)    
  4. Install overflow pipe -C-  .
    Location Description Type Basic value Tolerance 1 Tolerance 2
    Overflow pipe   Tightening torque 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)    
  5. Screw in oil drain plug -A-  with a new sealing ring -B-  .

    Oil drain plug   Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
