Changing ATF

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Information 

Aligning vehicle for checking oil: 

• Align the vehicle horizontally on a measuring platform 
• Secure the vehicle to prevent it from rolling away 

1. Raise the vehicle on a measuring platform in order to check the oil/make adjustments.
2. Together with air suspension/levelling system: Set the vehicle to "Normal Level" and switch off the levelling system. → 4X00IN LIFTING THE VEHICLE
3. Place a drip pan underneath.
4. Open the oil drain plug -arrow-  and drain oil.

5. Screw in new oil drain plug.

   Information 

   Use only oil approved by Porsche.

6. Open the oil inspection plug -arrow-  and fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372  until oil overflows.

7. Screw in oil inspection plug.
8. Start the engine.
   • Press the brake pedal
   • Shift the gear lever slowly through P-R-N-D three times
9. Read out the ATF temperature using PIWIS Tester II 9818  until it has reached the test temperature. Temperature 40°C +5°C 

   Menu structure:

   1. 9.1. Select PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung)  control unit
   2. 9.2. Submenu: Actual values/input signals 
   3. 9.3. Submenu: CAN output signals for transmission sump temperature 
10. Move selector lever to position P  .
11. Switch off engine and wait for about 2 minutes.
12. Open the oil inspection plug -arrow-  .
13. Fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372  until oil overflows.
14. Screw in a new oil inspection plug -arrow-  .
