Installing Battery
WARNING:
Static battery charge
- Battery can explode
- Electrical discharges
→ Do not rub the battery with a dry cloth.
NOTE:
Switch off all loads and remove the ignition key.
- Do not disconnect the battery while the engine is running.
- Disconnect and re-connect battery with extreme caution.
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
- Tighten fastening screw for clamp support securing battery to the body. Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
- Tighten fastening nuts on terminal clamps. Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)
