Removing front roof trim panel

CAUTION: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing electrical load.

NOTE:
  • The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
  • The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
  • Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
  • Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .

Installation position of roof trim panel 

  1. Unclip trim for headliner.

    Unclipping trim 

  2. Unclip headliner at the two side cut-outs -A-  and swivel it downwards -B-  .

  3. Lift headliner off towards the rear.

  4. Disconnect wire harness.

    1. 4.1. Release plug connections -A-  and pull them off -B-  .
    2. 4.2. Unclip fastening clip for wire harness -C-  .
