Removing dashboard trim panel

NOTE:
  • The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment  .
  • The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant  .
  • Some steps must be carried out automatically  .
  • Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
  1. Unclip trim -1-  at the dashboard and remove it.
    1. 1.1. Position a suitable tool at the cut-out -2-  between the trim panel -1-  and dashboard.
    2. 1.2. Unclip trim panel -1-  near the fixing clips on the dashboard.
    3. 1.3. Guide trim -1-  out of the brackets -3-  for the side-section trim panel at the front and remove it.
