Subsequent Work

  1. Adjust the brake shoes to their basic setting and calibrate the electric parking brake actuators. → 468316 ADJUSTING AND CALIBRATING PARKING-BRAKE SHOES
  2. Fit the wheel. → 440519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WHEEL
  3. Tighten axle nut (drive shaft mounting on wheel side) (2-step tightening procedure!). Operate the brake while doing this (2 mechanics required). → 4X00IN TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR REAR AXLE
  4. Fill the air springs. → 4301IN BLEEDING AND FILLING THE LEVELLING SYSTEM
  5. Perform suspension alignment. → 449503 SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT, COMPLETE
