Subsequent Work

1. Install outer wheel housing. Refer to 536855 REPLACING (OUTER) REAR WHEEL HOUSING .
2. Install upper part of rear cross member. Refer to 510955 REPLACING REAR CROSS MEMBER .
3. Install roof pillar. Refer to 510555 REPLACING ROOF PILLAR .
4. Install closing panel. Refer to 530555 REPLACING REAR CLOSING PANEL .

Subsequent work for body repairs 

1. Release and remove vehicle from the straightening system.
2. Clean joint areas and sheet metal flanges with a wire brush.
3. Prime joint areas and sheet metal flanges with 2K primer.
4. Restore standard seal with body sealant. Refer to WM 5X00IN SEAM SEALS . Also seal the repair area carefully.
5. Paint repair area and adjacent surfaces, if necessary.
6. Restore standard underbody protection with underbody sealant. Refer to WM 5X00IN UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
7. Apply standard cavity preservation. Refer to WM 5X00IN CAVITY PRESERVATION . Also carefully apply cavity preservation to the repair area.
8. Install removed accessories in the repair area.
