Removing Reservoir

WARNING: Caustic fluids

Danger of chemical burns
1. Wear personal protective gear.
2. Ensure that there is good ventilation.
3. Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
4. If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

NOTE: Pentosin

Water hoses can soften and may be damaged irreparably
1. Always keep water hoses away from Pentosin.
2. Water hoses that come into contact with Pentosin must be thoroughly cleaned immediately.
3. Water hoses that have already been contaminated with Pentosin over a long time must be replaced.

Information

Close off PDCC lines using suitable stoppers if the reservoir is not installed immediately.
Pay attention to cleanliness!

Installation position of PDCC reservoir

Empty the hydraulic fluid reservoir -2- using a suitable suction device. Use only one suction device that is used exclusively for Pentosin, not for any other fluids.

Carefully disconnect hoses from the reservoir.

2.1 Open and pull back clamps -3- using a suitable pair of pliers.

2.2 Place a suitable absorbent cloth underneath and use a drip pan if possible.

Reservoir, suction hose 3 and return line 4

2.3 Pull off hoses -3 and 4- .

Loosen the fastening nut -4- and remove the reservoir -1- in an upward direction.
