Pistons and connecting rods 

1. Piston-ring set - oil with engine oil, position TOP markings upwards, align ring gaps offset by 120°
2. Pistons - always observe direction of travel arrows on the piston crown (combustion chamber recess to center of engine left and right different), oil running surfaces
3. Piston-pin circlip
4. Piston pin - oil
5. Connecting rod
6. Connecting rod bolt - replace  , oil > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)  > Tightening torque 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) 

   > Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 ftlb.)  > Torque angle 90° 

7. Upper connecting-rod bearing shell
8. Lower connecting-rod bearing shell
