Removing 2/3-Split Folding Rear Backrest

Remove the left trim panel on the 2/3-split folding rear seat.
1. 1.1. Unscrew the fastening screw -1- on the seat trim -2- at the left.
  Press the control lever up to do this.

2. 1.2. Carefully unclip the trim panel -2- at the retaining lugs -3- on the seat.
3. 1.3. Carefully pull the trim panel up and remove it.
Unscrew fastening screw -1- on the seat trim -2- at the right.

Carefully unclip the trim panel -2- at the brackets -3- and lift it up and off.
Remove the shaft for 2/3-split folding backrest adjustment.
1. 4.1. Loosen the retaining lugs -1- on the adjustment device using a suitable tool -2- and press the shaft -3- out from the other side.

2. 4.2. Pull the shaft -1- out of the seat frame -arrow- .

Removing the rear belt lock at the center. → 692519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR BELT LOCK
Unscrew the fastening screws -1-3- on the 2/3-split folding backrest at the right.

Unscrew the fastening screws -1-3- on the 2/3-split folding backrest at the left.
