Removing Front Seat Trim: Notes

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle  .
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well  .
• These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear  .

Information 

To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Move front seat to the rearmost position.
2. Press in expansion rivet pin -1-  and pull out the expansion rivet.

3. Pull the outside of the seat trim -2-  at the rear outwards -A-  and press it up at the same time -B-  .
4. Pull the outside of the seat trim -2-  forward out of the bracket -C-  .

5. Release electric plug connection for seat adjustment -a-  and pull it off -A-  .
