Marking Engine Number

Information 

• Do not use steel stamping numbers to mark the engine number on direct fuel injection engines.
• Due to the material composition, the engine number must be engraved using the specified tool.

1. Connect > VAS 221 003 - Marker pen -1-  to compressed air supply.
2. Turn the adjusting ring -Arrows-  to open or close the compressed air supply.
3. First test the tool on a test part.

4. Use the marking pen to engrave the engine number into the crankcase.

5. To make a clear marking, use a 0.5 (5 mm) template!
