Removing Roof Trim Panel

Fold backrests forward.
Move front seats all the way forward and tilt them to the rear.
Unscrew screws -1- at the front.

Front screws
Only for vehicles with electric glass slide/tilt roof (I-no. 3FE)
Release and disconnect electric plug connections on sliding roof control unit.

Unclip headliner -2- in the sliding roof cut-out area.

Unclip rear roof trim panel -2- and loosen Velcro fasteners.

Unclip electric wire harness -1- (-arrows- ).
Release and remove electric line for reading light.

Make sure that the roof trim panel does not buckle.
Remove roof trim panel by pulling it forward.
