Preliminary Work

  1. Move driver's seat and passenger's seat as far back as they will go.
  2. Remove instrument cluster.

    > WM, 902519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

  3. Remove knee airbag on driver's side.

    > 697819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING KNEE AIRBAG ON DRIVER'S SIDE

  4. Remove knee airbag on passenger's side.

    > 697919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING KNEE AIRBAG ON PASSENGER'S SIDE

  5. Remove glove compartment.

    > 681519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING GLOVE COMPARTMENT

  6. Remove front loudspeakers (dashboard).

    > WM, 914019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT LOUDSPEAKERS (DASHBOARD)

  7. Remove centre console.

    > 681719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTRE CONSOLE

  8. Remove steering-column switch.

    > WM, 945019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING STEERING-COLUMN SWITCH

  9. Remove sun sensor.

    > 871419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SUN SENSOR

  10. Loosen fuse boxes at the front left and right.

    > WM, 978409 LOOSENING AND SECURING FUSE BOX UNDER FRONT SEAT

  11. Release and disconnect electric plug connections on passenger's airbag unit.

    > 695919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PASSENGER'S AIRBAG UNIT
