Removing Rear Lock Upper Part

Moving components
- Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
→ Do not reach into the danger area.
→ Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.
→ Keep third parties away from the danger area.
Information
- When removing the upper part of the lock using a closing aid, first disconnect the plug connection for the power supply.
- This prevents the closing aid motor from starting up while you are disconnecting the plug connection/control system.
- Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
- Unscrew screws -3-
and detach upper part of rear lock -2-
.

- Release electric plug connection -1-
and disconnect it from upper part of rear lock -2-
.

- Disengage bowden cable -4- .
Bowden cable
- 4.1 Unclip bowden cable -4- at the holder -5- .
- 4.2 Disengage bowden cable -4- from rear lock upper part -2- .
