Removing Side Section Flap (Module)

Installation position

1. Disengage emergency release for side section flap (module) -1-  from the side trim panel -2-  .

2. Unclip clip -2-  on emergency release for side section flap (module) -1-  from the luggage compartment.

3. Guide out the emergency release cable for the side section flap (module) from the wheel housing.
4. Remove water drain hose -1-  with rubber sleeve -2-  from the body and detach it from side section flap (module) -3-  .

   Side section flap (module)

   1. 5.1 Loosen locking lug 2 through the bore in the body using a slotted screwdriver.
   2. 5.2 Loosen locking lug 3 by moving the side section flap (module).
   3. 5.3 Loosen locking lug 4 through the bore in the body using a slotted screwdriver.
   4. 5.4 Loosen locking lug 5 by moving the side section flap (module).
6. Remove side section flap (module).

Removing side section flap (module)

1. 6.1 Swivel side section flap (module) out of the body aperture until the electric plug connections are accessible.
2. 6.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1 and 2-  .
3. 6.3 Remove side section flap (module).
