Installing Front Lock Upper Part

Information 

Replace nuts following removal.

1. Position front lock upper part -2-  and fit nuts -1-  by hand.

2. Close the lid slowly until the clip -1-  for the upper part of the lock at the front is touching the lower part of the lock.

   Checking position

3. Position front lock upper part so that the clip -1-  is centered and flush with slot -2-  in the lower part of the lock.

4. Open the lid again and tighten nuts > Tightening torque 12 Nm (8.9 ftlb.)
