Installing Valve Unit

  1. Fit valve unit -1-  .

    Mounting for valve unit

    1. 1.1 Tighten fastening screws -2-  . >Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3 ftlb.) 

    Information 

    Check the following before installing the air line:

    • Check that the cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  are still on the air line -3-  .
    • Check that the air line is fitted correctly.

    Only one marking -1-  on the air line should be visible.

    Pull the air line briefly against the insertion direction. If it cannot be pulled out, the air line is fitted correctly.

  2. Fit air lines on valve unit -1-  . The air line is assigned according to the imprint on the valve unit.

    Mounting for air lines on valve unit

    1. 2.1 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joints -2-  . >Tightening torque 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.) 
    2. 2.2 Connect air lines and tighten Voss threaded joints -3-  . >Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.) 
  3. Connect and lock electric plug connection -2-  on the valve unit -1-  .

  4. Fit heat protection panel -1-  at the bottom.
