Pre-Filling The Fuel System

NOTE:
Voltage drop
- Irreparable damage to control unit
- Damage to control unit
- Fault entries in the control unit
- Control unit programming/coding is aborted
- Malfunctions in the control unit, even during programming/coding
→ Switch off ignition before disconnecting the control unit.
→ Make sure that the power supply is not interrupted during programming/coding.
→ Connect the battery charger with at least > current 90 A to the vehicle battery.
- Pre-fill the fuel system.
- 1.1 > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3 must now be connected.
- 1.2 Switch on ignition and start the PIWIS Tester.
- 1.3 Select Auxiliary heating control unit in the overview .
- 1.4 Maintenance/repairs must then be selected.
- 1.5 Pre-filling of the fuel line after components are replaced must now be selected. Then press Next.
- 1.6 Select the relevant option:
Auxiliary heating or control unit was replaced
or
Work was carried out on the fuel-carrying lines
Press Next.
- 1.7 Press F8 to start.
