Remove The Cylinder Head Cover

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

Information 

The > T40331 - camshaft clamp  must be fitted before removal and installation.

> WM, 158420 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFT ACTUATORS (INCLUDES SETTING TIMING) 

  1. Remove cylinder head cover -1-  .
    1. 1.1 Unscrew screws -2-  slowly and uniformly from the outside in.
    2. 1.2 Remove cylinder head cover -1-  and set it down on a clean surface.
