Removing Compressor

  1. Remove heat protection panel -1-  at the bottom from the bolts and press it aside slightly.

  2. Disconnect PDCC wire harness at the PDCC control unit (observe specified sequence!).

    Sequence for disconnecting the electric plug connections

    1. 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connections from the PDCC control unit in the sequence -1 to 5-  .
  3. Expose PDCC wire harness -1-  .

    Mounting for PDCC wire harness

    1. 3.1 Unscrew fastening screw for ground line -3-  .
    2. 3.2 Remove PDCC wire harness from the brackets -4-  .
  4. Expose wire harness for levelling system -1-  .

    1. 4.1 Release and unplug electric plug connections -2-  .
    2. 4.2 Loosen brackets -3-  on wire harness for levelling system.

    Information 

    The cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  must remain on the air line -3-  .

  5. Remove air lines on valve unit -1-  .

    Mounting for air lines on valve unit

    1. 5.1 Unscrew Voss threaded joints -2 and 3-  and pull off air lines.
  6. Remove suction line -1-  from the compressor -2-  .

    1. 6.1 Loosen spring band clamp -3-  and pull off suction line -1-  .
    2. 6.2 Loosen bracket -4-  .
  7. Remove levelling system -5-  .

    1. 7.1 Unscrew nuts -1 to 4-  .
  8. Remove lines on compressor -1-  .

    1. 8.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  on the control unit.
    2. 8.2 Loosen brackets -3-  .

      Information 

      The cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  must remain on the air line -3-  .

    3. 8.3 Unscrew Voss threaded joints -4 and 5-  for the air lines and pull off air lines.
  9. Remove compressor from the holder.

    1. 9.1 Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 4-  using > 9890 - socket wrench E12.
