Installing Spreader Device (Epb Actuator)
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Clean the actuator carefully so as not to damage the dust boots.
- Visually inspect the dust boots for cracks.
Information
Do not twist brake shoe mountings during installation.
- Installation is performed in reverse order.
- When re-using the (EPB) actuator, secure it in the brake shoe mountings with a tie-wrap to prevent it from twisting -arrow-
.
Securing actuator for EPB
- Screw in and tighten new
screws.
> Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 60°
