Installing Rear Anti-Roll Bar (Pdcc))
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Information
Before connecting the 48 V connectors, check whether the sealing ring -1- is positioned under the locking lugs -2- in the connectors.
Carefully press the sealing ring back over the locking lugs if necessary.

- 1.1 Plug in and lock electric plug connections on the PDCC control unit in the sequence -1 to 5-

WARNING: Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly- Risk of crushing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
Information
Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.
- 1.2 To tighten the screws, lift the wheel bearing housing as far as required using lifting equipment (e.g > VAS 6931 - Transmission and Engine Jack
) until the lower trailing arm is horizontal. Zero position

- 1.3 Observe specified tightening torques:
Anti-roll-bar mount to rear axle housing: > Initial tightening 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) > Final tightening torque angle + 90°
PDCC wire harness to rear axle housing: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Protective plate on PDCC actuator to rear axle housing: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)
Protective plates on rear axle housing bearings to rear axle housing: > Tightening torque 7 Nm (5.2 ftlb.)
