Removing Anti-Roll Bar Mount

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Only for e-Hybrid vehicles:  Loosen high-voltage line brackets.
    1. 1.1 Loosen screws -1-  for high-voltage line brackets on anti-roll-bar mount.
    2. 1.2 Remove expansion rivets -2-  .
    3. 1.3 Open tie-wrap -3-  and remove high-voltage line brackets from front-axle carrier.

  2. Only for e-Hybrid vehicles:  Unclip cable holder for high-voltage lines -1-  from anti-roll-bar mount.

  3. Only for e-Hybrid vehicles:  Disconnect electric lines for steering -1-  and transmission -2-  at the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .
    1. 3.1 Unclip electric line for steering -1-  at -items A-  on the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .
    2. 3.2 Unclip electric line for transmission -2-  at -items B-  on the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .

  4. Not for e-Hybrid vehicles:  Disconnect electric line for steering -1-  and transmission -2-  at the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .
    1. 4.1 Unclip electric line for steering -1-  at -items A-  on the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .
    2. 4.2 Unclip electric line for transmission -2-  at -items B-  on the anti-roll bar mount -3-  .

  5. Remove strut -1-  on both sides of the vehicle.
    1. 5.1 Unscrew screws -2 and 3-  .

  6. Loosen anti-roll bar mount -1-  at the sides.
    1. 6.1 Unscrew screws -2-  on the front-axle carrier on both sides of the vehicle.
    2. 6.2 Only at the left (RHD vehicles)/only at the right (LHD vehicles):  Unscrew screw -3-  and counter at the nut on the steering gear at the same time.

  7. Loosen anti-roll bar mount -1-  at the front and rear.
    1. 7.1 Unscrew screws -2-  on the front-axle carrier.
    2. 7.2 Unscrew screws -3-  on the body.

  8. Carefully guide anti-roll bar mount -1-  down and out -arrow A-  .
