Installing Front Anti-Roll Bar
- Move front anti-roll bar into installation position.

- Install anti-roll bar clamps -1-

- 2.1 Secure line bracket -1-
for PDCC wire harness -2-
at the left anti-roll bar clamp.

- 2.2 Screw in fastening screws -2- (do not tighten!).

- Screw in fastening screws -3-
for the connecting links -1-
on both sides of the vehicle (do not tighten!).

- Tighten threaded joints in zero position.WARNING: Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly
- Risk of crushing
- Risk of damage to components
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
Information
Threaded joints must only be tightened in zero position to prevent warping in the bearings.
- 4.1 Lift the wheel bearing housing as far as required using lifting equipment (e.g > VAS 6931 - Transmission and Engine Jack
) until the lower trailing arm is horizontal > Zero position (shown on rear axle as an example)

- 4.2 Tighten fastening screws -2-
for anti-roll bar clamps -1-
> Initial tightening 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 30°

- 4.3 Tighten fastening screws -3- for the connecting links -1- on both sides of the vehicle > Initial tightening 70 Nm (52 ftlb.) > Final tightening + 90°

Information
Before connecting the 48 V connectors, check whether the sealing ring -1- is positioned under the locking lugs -2- in the connectors.
Carefully press the sealing ring back over the locking lugs if necessary.
