Installing Coil Spring

Information 

If the coil spring is replaced: Always replace coil springs in pairs only!

Information 

Observe information on coil spring colour markings and insert colours.

• Use the same colour as with the previously installed inserts. 

1. Fit bottom insert into the trailing arm in such a way that the lug -1-  engages in the groove -2-  .

2. Fit insert -1-  with spring plate -2-  at the bottom into the bottom insert -3-  (contours must match!).

   Information 

   The top and bottom end of the spring coil must be touching the stop on the spring plates -1-  .

3. Fit top inserts with spring plate at the top together with coil spring > Inserting coil spring.

4. Carefully relieve tension on the coil spring and remove clamping cylinder using > 9823/1 - spring clamp plates  .
