Removing Chain Housing Cover

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

1. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -2-  at the relevant actuators.

2. Only for cylinder bank 1: 
   1. 2.1 Remove additional coolant pump holder -1-  .
      1. 2.1.1 Unscrew nut -2-  .
      2. 2.1.2 Unscrew double-screws -3-  and press additional coolant pump holder -1-  aside.

3. Remove chain housing cover -1-  .
   1. 3.1 Unscrew screws -2-  .
   2. 3.2 Press off chain housing cover -1-  at a suitable point and set it down on a clean surface.
