Removing And Installing Boost Pressure Control Cycle Valve

- > 9866 - Support can be fitted instead of the torque support for better access in the engine compartment.
- Engine can then be moved to the left or right by turning it at the > 9866 - support hexagon (SW 17).

Modification of special tool 9866
- The special tool > 9866 - support must be modified for use in the Panamera G2.
- Saw off individual components at the dashed lines and de-burr them.
- Change the labelling of the tool to 9866/2 -arrow- using numbering stamps.
- It may no longer be possible to use the tool on other vehicles.
- Purchase another special tool > 9866 - support if necessary.
- This measure applies temporarily until the special tool > 9866/2 - support is available.

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.
- Press engine aside using the > 9866/2 - support .
- Remove heat shield -1-

- 2.1 Unscrew screws -2- .
- 2.2 Remove heat shield -1- .
Cover section of high-pressure pump (illustration shows left side)
- Release and remove electric plug connection -1-
, pull off vacuum hoses -2-
and pull cycle valve -3-
out of the bracket -Arrow-

Boost pressure control cycle valve (illustration shows right side)
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
Tighten heat shield on high-pressure pump to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) .
