Removing Balance Shaft Bearing

  1. Prepare the > T40395 - insertion tool  .
    1. 1.1 Fit adapter T40395/2 on the roller bearing at the correct side. The chamfer -Arrow-  must be facing the roller bearing.

    2. 1.2 Align adapter -T40395/3-  . The side without the chamfer -Arrows-  points downwards

  2. Pull the roller bearing inward at the front -1-  and rear -2-  using the spindle -T40395/1-  , adapter -T40395/2-  and adapter -T40395/3  -as far as it will go by turning the nut -T40395/4-  .

    Using special tool T40395

    Installing balance shaft bearing

  1. Fit adapter T40395/2 on the roller bearing at the correct side. The chamfer -Arrow-  must be facing the roller bearing and determines the installation depth.

  2. Align adapter -T40395/3-  . The side without the chamfer -Arrows-  points downwards
